What is the significant of ZERO degree kelvin ? why it is
not possible to achieve it?
Answer Posted / sourabh yadav
zero degree kelwin is a referance temp. with respect to which we measure temp. of various bodies. it is the least temp. which we can achieve bcoz if we achieve below this temp. then Q2 heat rejection which is exhausted will become 0 acc. to TS diagram and we gEt Q1=work done ie a complete conversion of low grade energy into high grade energy hence violating second law of thermodynamics
