why induction motor always operate at lagging p.f.?
Answer Posted / gaurav
Induction motor always operates at lagging power factor
because induction motor is a electrical machine in which
only stator is supplied and rotor gets its power through
mutual induction. In the rotor how much current lag behind
the voltage is actually depends on the material used for
rotor.
