In DCS, we have I/o modules for making DCS I/O function
either analogue or digital, and can be increase or decrease
the capacity of I/Os through installation or de-
installation of I/O module in the rack (MMU).
In bailey INFI-90, each I/O module has 16 chennels (8 for
chenel - A, and 8 for chenel - B).
So, you can calculate the total I/O capacity in DCS by
counting total installed I/O module and multiply them with
16.
PLUS.
Count those I/Os which is provided by the vendor in CIS
(Control and indications) modules.
