Difference Between Isolator and Mcb

Dear all,
Isolator is used to isolate the system during fault from
healthy system.
Mcb it is miniature circuit breaker which is used to
protect the sysem from short circuit,earth fault...it
operates automatically when relay gives the command to
circuit breaker.
