Analog card means the signals may interms of 4-20 ma , 1-5 v
ie variable source of signals.
Digital cards means the source of signals may interms of
binary o & 1, no & nc contacts ie 24v or 0v.
for example transmitters are produce 4-20 ma ,and it is
called analog input.
limit switches ,On & Off switches are called digital
signals.
