What are the voltages at which electrical energy is
transmitted

Answer Posted / b.murali dhara babu

The voltage at which the utility is being trasmitted
depends on the load of the utlity .
From 200 w to 5 KW at 230 V single phase
From 5 KW to 55 KW/70 HP at 3 x 440 V
From 70 KVA to 1000KVA at 11 KV 3 Phase
from 1000 KVA to 5000KVA at 33 KV 3 phase
above 5000 KVA to 10000 KVA at 132 KV 3 Phase
above 10000 KVA at 220 KV 3 Phase
