what happen if we give square wave instead of sine wave to
the transformer

Answer Posted / vishvesh bhatt

as we feed alternative power at primary, we get it same at secondary according to winding ratio, but output voltage equation changes, as for sinusoidal wave, form factor is 1.11, for the square wave it is , so, according to that we get output voltage different than we get in sinusoidal wave.
