whats the working principle of level transmeter?

Answer Posted / s vedpathak

There are different types of level transmitter who works on
different principle exa Displacement type,differential
pressure type,nucleonic type,capacitance type etc.

Displacement type L Tx works on Archimedes principle which
states that the buoyant force on a submerged object is
equal to the weight of the fluid that is displaced by the
object.

similarly in D/P L tx, fluid exerts pressure on HP/LP side
of the capsule & based on the differential head & specific
gravity, the transmitter gives mA output.
