there are a transformer and a motor. both are connected to
3phase, 415 Volt, 50Hz power supply. Both are working with
induction principles. Then, why, motor is rotating and
transformer is not rotating.

Transformer works on the principle magnetic induction.
but transformer having primary and secondary
windings ...which are static ..then how rotation is
possible in transformer????/
coming to induction motor it having primary and secondary
windings ....one of which is a static winding and other is
rotatory winding.
hence rotation is possible due to magnetic action produced
by the mutual induction principle as in tranformer...
