WHAT IS MINIMUM AMOUNT OF CURRENT THE HUMAN BEING CANT
RECOVER FROM THE SHOCK,WHAT IS THE RESISTANCE OF THE HUMAN
BODY
Answer Posted / shaul hamid
The perception of electric shock can be different depending
on the voltage, duration, current, path taken, frequency,
etc. Current entering the hand has a threshold of perception
of about 5 to 10 milliamperes (mA) for DC and about 1 to 10
mA for AC at 60 Hz. Shock perception declines with
increasing frequency, ultimately disappearing at frequencies
above 15-20 kHz.

a)In a 3-phase 4-wire circuit, a circuit breaker is selected to protect the circuit whose highest fault level is 6.6 MVA. Determine the required minimum breaking capacity in kA. (Note: Covert 3-phase power in terms of kA to find answer.) b)Using the below, determine the required minimum making capacity in kA as a “peak value”.
