What's the difference between welding and soldering?
Answer Posted / harshad date
welding is the process in which two different or similar
metals are joined which have less temperature difference
between them.so when they are carried to higher temp(say
upto melting point temp) both (somewhat more-lesser) melt
and thus they get fused.
but in case of soldering, two metals have large difference
in their melting point.so,before melting of "higher melting
pt material", "lower melting point material" can get
evaporated. to avoid that, for joining of such
metals,soldering is used.
