Ya, The best way to prepare Capital IQ written test is :
Attend the written testes as maximum u can ( at least 2
times),then remember what type of questions asking in the
exam. This experience may useful to u next time to get (at
least 10%) questions from the past papers.
In general the written test Model is:
1. 20Questions-20Marks from Finance and Accounts.
(Objective Type)
2. 5Question (Grammar, Paragraph reading, synopsis,
Speeches etc) 10Marks from English.(Descriptive Type)
3. 10Marks from Arithmetic and Reasoning (Descriptive
Type).
Note: Some times Descriptive Type Questions may ask
(Finance/Accounting).
Those people who want to come in to the finance field
should be thorough knowledge in Finance and Accounts.
Spend 2 Month time(per day spend 1.5Hours). u will become
master in the concepts.
I am advice to u that, Cover all the chapter, collect the
material from u r seniors and friends and others. Prepare
the metrical in a order by your self, this should be
readable to You and understandable. Because this is useful
to you in the time of interview explain without tension.
Spend 2 Month time (per day spend 1.5Hours). U will become
master in the concepts.
Discuss with u r friends, search in “Google”.
For an example I am trying to give some of the Questions
frequently asking in interview and written test.
Accounting Concepts and Conventions.
1. Meaning of Accounting, journal, ledger, Trail
balance, balance sheet, income statement.
2. Revenue expense & income, Capital expense& income
3. Public company and Private Company, Depreciation,
Amortization, Depletion, Dilapidation, Types of business,
Capital Types etc.
5. Capital Budgeting Chapter, Financial Management, Merger
chapter, Take over, Liquidation, Acquisition, Anti takeover
policies, spin off, and spell off.
6. ****Ratio Analysis **** VIMP.
7. A bout Stock Market, Primary and secondary markets,
Derivatives, SEBI, Mutual funds, Different types of Bonds,
Debt instruments, EPS, DPS, Book value per share, NAV per
share, Working Capital Management ,Cash flow and Funds
flow, Meaning of Proxy, BRS. Etc.
