The bearing capacity of soil is the maximum average contact
pressure between the foundation and the soil which should
not produce shear failure in the soil.
It can be computed by therotically and Physically.
1. Terzagi theroy.
2. Mayer hoffs theroy.
Physically:
1. Plate load test.
2.dynamic test loading.
3.wave equation analysis.
