what is TRANSDUCERS?

Answer Posted / jishnu mukherjee

Actually transducers are a special sort of devices (sensors)
that converts any non electrical parameter to active
electrical parameter(either current or voltage)...we get
current or voltage as a transducer output.

for instance :LVDT,PIEZOELECTRIC TRANSDUCERS..etc

But one point should be noted that in case of transducers
the output is always electrical parameter but the sensors
convert any form of energy to any other form...

SO EVERY TRANSDUCER IS A SENSOR BUT EVERY SENSOR IS NOT
NECESSARILY A TRANSDUCER
