why do we use first angle projection and third angle
projection only and not 2nd and 4 thangle projections?

I think for both 2nd and 4th angles, the drawings would not line up as they do for 1st and 3rd angles. Therefore, though its feasible to draw them, 1st and 3rd angles save more time when referring to them as they are simpler representations (they actually make sense :) )
When we fold the imaginary planes of projection. In first and Third the drawings separate but in 2nd and 4th they would be on top of each other.
