Why annealing is done on transformer core manufacturing
process?

Answer Posted / iamdon

The mechanical process involved in the manufacturing of
transformer core heavily stress the core. This reduces the
magnetic properties of the core.
By annealing, the stress is relieved so magnetic properties
of core increases.
