size of the standard brick is 190cm*90cm*90cm and
the size of the nominal brick is 200cm*100cm*100cm which includes the thickness of the mortar in joint.
the minimum crushing or compressive strength of the bricks is 3.5 N/mm^2 as per BIS:1077-1957
