minimum in IDMT refers to the minimum time.IDMT is relay
which has a characteristic of detecting a fault..ib which
the operating time has an inverse relationship with
magnitude of fault current.and the relay is such designed
that within a given time it has to trip the CB.thats whhy it
is called inverse definite medium time relay.
