What is the difference between "Earthing" and "Neutral"?
Answer Posted / boniface
Earthing is done to provide a low impedance path for faulty
current to ground to prevent damage to live and equipment.
Neutral complete the circuit enabling equipment to work.
Note: If a proper earthing is done in your premises, in
the event of a break in the neutral, you can have your
equipment working properly. That should not make you
replaced your neutral with earth.
