MCbs can withstand fault current upto 9KA. whereas MCCBs
can withstand high fault current upto 100ka. Hence MCCBs
are recommended to install at high current distribution
systems. Whereas MCBS are used for feeder distribution.

MCCB cost very high when compared to MCB
