what ever above said is right but technically inverter is
that which convert d.c to a.c and its is a part of ups
(uninterupted power supply)

My question is this: Why do they allow for different filtering arrangements on these wave traps? Isn't it always going to be a low pass filter since we want the power frequency to go through, and the comm signal blocked?
