it is system that controls instruments in the plant,
however there are several controleers that are distributed
tthroughout the plant, hence Distributed control systems
(DCS).example one controller controlls the filling of
bottles with milk, another controller controls how the
bottles get packed in a crate, etc.however all these
controllers are networked and share information.
