what is the relation between Sq mm of wire and its current
carrying capacity?
Answer Posted / jk
Standard quation R=1/a and I=1/R
a=cross sectional area in Sq.mm
R=Resistance in ohms
I=Current in Ampere
now if we shorting above two euation in one form the the
formula become I=a means current is directly proportional
to the cross-sectional area of cable.inshort if cross-
sectional area increase then the current carrying capacity
is also increase of the cable.
