What is the technical reason for adopting color coding of
three phase system as RYB.
Answer Posted / madhvaraj
Red, Green and Blue are the three primary colours. These colours are unique and cannot be formed by mixing any other colours. More over they are distinctly visible for identification. As we require a 4th colour for representing neutral, the mixture of red and green, i.e. yellow is taken for representing phase and the green, universally accepted for
safety is representing earth.
