Why are tertiary windings used in transformers?

they r used to supply the substation auxillaries at
differnt voltage levels other than primary and secondary
also when we use ynyn0 connection in transformer a delta
tertiary is used to provide closed path for 3rd harmonics
which is not there in ynyn
