kW is the power and kWh is the energy.
power*time=energy
If you have a 100 W lamp (0.1 kW) and it is working for 10
hours, then the energy is 1 kW:
100 Watt*10 h= 1000 Wh= 1 kWh
you can also say that kW is demand and kWh is consumption.
