Electrically... there is no problem... until the rotor
position disturbs...
but there is a chance for that... as the lower side bearing
will have to bear all the rotor weight.. and that also the
force acting on the bearing will not be in proper
direction... so first the bearings will gets damaged... and
then position of the rotor will be disturbed...so there
willl not be smooth operation of the motor.....

The 3 phase 400 hp 440 volt slip ring induction motor do not take one phase amps why ? The motor is running good condition
If a air condition consume 2.50 to 3.00 amp then how much it will consume in watts if it is running 10 hours out of 24 hours????
