PID controller is used for control of any process parameter
in all types of Industries.PID stands for
Proportional,Integral and Derivative.A basic controller
comprises of three components i.e Process variable ,
setpoint and final control output.
There are many types of controllers such as cascade ,
remote set point,feed back , feed forward etc.
Proportional = 100 / xP ( unitless)
xP = gain
Gain = change of output/change of input ( unitless)
Integral : the time taken in seconds for a process variable
to travel one proportional band is called as integral value.
( unit seconds)
Derivative : rate of chage of output is called as
derivative (unit seconds)
