A 3 phase motor, 440 voltage, induction motor. If we take
out rotor from motor and if we give supply 440 volt to
stator then what happens?????

my dear friends practically i was faced this problem.
without rotor equivalent circuit,reactance is ok
BUT THE INCREASE IN AIR GAP DECREASES THE INDUCTANCE OF THE
STATOR WINDING defiantly i will leads to burning within few
minutes.
