there is one simple question that why we are using KW and not HP?
ANS:-
as we know that is HP is unit of power in mechanical sometimes it happens that we say that am heaving 150W motor
and in market it the minimum size is in 0.5HP as said in above answer it is easy to calculate KW power of motor
second we are using motor to do mechanical work not electrical work so it would be easy to say that we heaving motor in HP not in KW
