what is frame relay.and how it is different from isdn
Answer Posted / jitendera kumar sinha
farme realy is a packet switch technology and it is a
multiacess n/w but doenot support the broad cast address.
it look like a dedicated lease line conection
so we can say that frame realy is packet switcheing
technolgy and work on the basis og sharing of bandwidth.
isdn-intrgated services digital network-
it is a digital sevice degin to run over the telephone
network.isdn can supoort both data and voice.in another
word we can say that isdn is a set of protocol which is
difined by telephonic comany for high speed data transfer
based on bandwith.
donot think that it is replacement of frame realy, ppp or
hdlc.becoz it is an uderlying infrastructure that any of
these could use.
