sensex is depended on top 30 companies and Nifty is
depended on 50 companies ... does NSE and BSE have the
same companies or different ...? If they are same then why
does share value is same ?
Answer Posted / raghs
Kids, the 30 and 50 are the composition of BSE and NSE they
are calculated on Weighted avg basis,30 and 50 doesnt mean
that they have only 30 shares listed in it they are just the
bench mark securities selected and rearranged on the basis
of their trading volumes there are thousands of securities
listed. there will be uniformity in the share price in the
BSE and NSE u will not find huge difference though if found
arbitrager will take advantage and equate the prices anyways.
