why the neutral point is zero in star connection?

Answer Posted / anshul kumar goyal

According to KCL
Cuurent coming to the point+current going away from the
point=0
Therotically same rule applies in star connection only if
load is balanced, but practically current at neutral point
is not 0 as .
To make the neutral current 0, earthing is provided in the
transformer commissioned at DT through a bush.
This earthing provides minimum resistance path for the
accessive current.
