digital card used for digital input and digital o/p.digital
i/p means status of allswitches whether it is on or off and
pump rts (ready to start),run conform & trip
indication .digital o/p means pump start ,stop,
local/remote. it deals only binary either on or off (0 or
1).analog card deals with analog i/p & analog o/p means 4to
20 ma.analog i/p means for ex. in case of control valve %
of open & close needed so according to 4 to 20 means 0 to
100% open close .analog o/p means o/p from all
transmiter.for ex . in case of level transmiter 50% level
in tank means o/p is 12ma .4ma-0,8ma-25%,12ma-50%,16ma-
75%,20ma -100%.

We Have Two Field bus Pressure Transmitters of Different Sensor Range (I.E One is of Lower range and Another is of Higher Range). Is same Process Line. My Question is Can i provide Saturation Limit to my field Bus Transmitter as We can provide Saturation current limit to HART Instruments. As During Low Pressure Both Working OK ,But During High Pressure, transmitter with Lower sensor range Goes to Fault mode as Beyond its Sensor Limit it can Measure, So may I provide Saturation point Some where to Suppress This Fault during High Pressure.
