Difference between marketing and sales

Answer Posted / gyanendra kumar

marketing is long term prosses and sales is short term
process.

marketing is the bussiness activity which governs and
direct the flow of goods from the manufacturer to consumer.

but sales is also a business activity which start from the
product.

In the marketing the organization will make profit through
the coustomer satisfaction and in the selling the
organization will make profit through the higher sales
volume.

In the marketing the customers are treated as main object
but in the selling tne customers are treated as last link
in the chain.

marketing involves the things like advertisment, sales
promotion, but in the selling these things are not required.
