Relays are 3 types
1. Mechanical relay
2. electromechanical relay
3. numerical relay
RELAY WILL SENCE THE FAULT CURRENT THROUGH CURRENT
TRANSFORMER AND IT WILL GIVE A COMMAND/ SIGNAL TO TRIPPING
COIL WHICH WILL TRIP THE BREAKER.
