i am working in a govt org as a scientist in he areas of
s/w engineering and i have got my i-20 and wish to for a F1
visa for doing my MS. i have a good academic background and
good scores as well. will working in a govt org as a
scientist go against me in the visa. should i carry some
extra docs ...

Your visa won't be rejected sir. They might give you a 221G
and ask you to wait while they get clearance for your case
from Washington D.C. This will happen if you have worked
with defense establishments like DRDO, ISRO etc. Sometimes
they give you an additional questionnaire if they think you
are a doubtful case but don't worry. If other things are in
place, your visa will surely be issued.

Hello there, I am an international student. I used to study english in the USA but for some bad issue I had to back to my country. I have a very serious problem.in my passport my name is like First name-Nakul Middle name-Kumar.There is no Last name as my father also doesnt keep one.Now one university is asking for Last name to be written else get a new passport(which is not at all a good option) for I20.The second option they gave is that to keep First name as FNU (First Name unknown) and Last name as "Nakul Kumar".This option will create serious problems in VISA interview.Kindly suggest what should I do.I got admit from this university and its required for I20.Please help.
