central Repository(Storage Unit) of system landscape
information relevant for the management of your software
life-cycle. By providing a directory comprising information
about all installable software available from SAP and
automatically updated data about systems already installed
in a landscape, you get the foundation for tool support to
plan software life-cycle tasks in your system landscape
