what is skin effect? why is it absentin dc system
Answer Posted / biswajit ghosh
AC current tends to avoidtravel through the centre of solid

hand ,tends to avoid travel through the very middle of a
conductor, limiting the effective cross-sectional area
available . the skin effect becomes more pronounced as
frequency increase.
