Business Area represents area of operation within
organisation and can be used across company code. There are
the balancing entities which are able to create their own
set of financial statement for internal purpose. The use of
business area is optional.
Business area are generally company code independent. The
business segment are branches in which a group operates can
be set up in are three systems as business area.
