what is the future after investings 3.5 lakhs in SIMENS

Answer Posted / rajesh

Try to evaluate your strengths and try to find something
which makes you special in your current field. I have left
my earlier field and came in to SAP just because of good
salary, but even after toiling so hard for 4 years i cant
able to match my earlier salary and people with me are so
ahead now which i can just dream off. There are other
fields too which can give you much much more salaries and
incentives, and high growth then in SAP, the vertical
growth is limited moreover due to high competition salaries
in SAP are dropped too low, constant learning is required
to update/upgrade merely doing regular job will not give
you any kind of growth, but if you are in sales or finance
your applied experience and results counts solely for your
growth. whereas in SAP apart from applied knowledge and
learning you have to constantly brush up your knowledge in
your own module every time you change job, complete one
project and search for another project. Currently due to
high pressure on IT budgets companies searching for people
who have knowledge in more then one module, again a big
headache for consultants. If you want to learn business and
want to get structured knowledge then SAP is good otherwise
it is nightmare.
