Mr.Chandra,
SCD's are the essential mappings we need to useto maintain
Datawarehouses. Coz,if we are serving our clients with
maintainance, we ought to update their data with necessary
changes. the changes can be,
1. Inserting the data from the latest OLTP database
2. Updating our OLAP DWH with changes.
3. Maintaing the change, as well as Historical data etc...
All these, can be done using SCD's only...
