Bug report preparation:
1.click on Track defects tab(mandatory)
2.click on add
3.enter all the details like:
summary:---> what test u r performing..say gui test on a
particular window
detected by: tester
version:
date:
assigned to: developer
status:
test set:
project id:
select:
severity:
priority:
In status field there r 6 options:
New--> when the bug is detected for the first time
open--> after sending the bug report to the developer
rejected---> when the bugs are found in the modified
version of the application that is sent by the developer
re-open--> when the bug report is sent to the developer for
subsequent no of times..
fixed--> when the modified version of the application is
found free from bugs..
closed--> the status is selected by the QA Lead after
verifying the test to confirm whether it is passed r not.

Hi All, Im currently getting to grips with the Document Generator in Test Director and have a query. We use TD to link requirements to test cases and I am attempting to produce a report which lists the requirement and the test case it is linked to. I cant see a way to do this as the test case link info resides on the Coverage page and it appears the only field available to display for requirements reports within document generator as those on the 'details' tab. Any tips?
