A new apartment complex purchased 60 toilets and 20 shower
heads. If the price of a toilet is three times the price of
a shower head, what percent of the total cost was the cost
of all the shower heads?
Answer Posted / janaki
T = 60
S = 20
C(T)=3x
C(S)=x
Total cost of toilets = 60*3x=180x
Total cost of shower heads =20x
Total cost of T’ and S’ = 180x+20x = 200x
cost of ShowerHeads in total cost =20x/200x *100 =10%
