I guess you people got confused between Traceability matrix
and Requirment Traceability matrix.
Traceability matrix : This shows the at what stage the
modules in the application are standing. They will be able
to know till what stage Requirment has under gone.
They will be able to know wether the Req has gone through
the following stages
1.SRS, 2.SRAS, 3.HLD, 4.LLD, 5.Coding, 6.Testing.
The answers given above says Requirment Traceability
matrix.
