In general every company maintains a common server to
maintain all the deliverables from developement and testing
for future references ,is called configuration repository
Change and configuration management can be accessed to the
developement people to save their developement deliverables
and Visualsourcesafe(VSS) like tool they used for version
control
Testcasedatabase(TCDB)can be accessed to the testing people
to store the deliverables like testplan,testcasesdoc,test
mertrics and other summary reports
Defect repository can be accessed to both testers and
delopers,for required negotiation between testers and
developers .Ex:Bugzilla,Ms Excelsheet,Problem reporting
tool etc.,
