To configure capacity types in SAP APO PP DS, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Customizing for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling application.
2. Navigate to Implementation Guide > IMG > Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling > Master Data Definition > Capacity > Define Types of Capacity."
3. Create or modify capacity types as needed, specifying their names, codes, and other relevant characteristics.
