Explain the difference between basic scheduling and lead time scheduling?
Answer Posted / Minakshi
Basic Scheduling is a method that schedules operations based on their start and end times without considering actual lead times. It provides an earliest possible and latest possible schedule for each operation, but it does not account for resource availability or work center capacities. On the other hand, Lead Time Scheduling takes into account the actual lead time for each operation and adjusts the schedule based on resource availability.
