A PeopleSoft HRMS can be set up to be position-driven by configuring the Position Management component. There are two primary approaches: Position-Based Organization (PBO) and Position-based Job Information System (PBJIS). The setup for these configurations is primarily done in the PeopleTools Component Engineering or via the Campus Solutions Component Interface.
