If you are producing several similar products that have a
lot of common parts, you can describe these products using
a variant BOM. take the example of car which starts from
basic models (power staring & AC) middle end (power
staring, power window, A/c)
upper models ( power staring, power window, A/c , music
system leather seat this is the variant types of car.
